PERFORMANCE OF A LIFETIME • Skywatchers across the Northwest Territories were treated to a rare celestial spectacle on June 5, 2012 as Venus made its historic 6-hour 44-minute trek across the solar disk. Astronomy North is compiling Transit of Venus images and videos captured during the Public Viewing Session at Sombe K’e Park in Yellowknife.
